Even if health care bills were reasonably priced and determined by a free market, which they are not, it still wouldn't matter, because Medicare is not designed properly to be a sustainable program. The evidence is as I provided in my previous post. People are allowed to receive far in excess of what they paid in plus a reasonable return on their investment. That is the very definition of a ponzi scheme. Ponzi schemes are mathematically guaranteed to implode.

Look. There are so many people on this thread that try so hard to ignore the reality of the laws of mathematics. Stop being silly and recognize that until we move to a system where people's contributions are tied to what they receive or to a free market pooled insurance system, then Medicare and Social Security will never be sustainable. It's just math.
