That press release came about one week after the blowout. That was way back when the media gave two flips about the 11 people killed and didn't focus 100% on dead birds and fish. I don't think Matt Simmons had made his idiotic "they have to nuke it" call by that time. A lot changed from the time of that release and drilling the relief well.
