Today’s modest gain for BSDM is evidently due to the news release re a marketing agreement with a Taiwanese company: “Linden is required to purchase a minimum number of BSD-2000 systems annually over a five year period, totaling a cumulative $7.1 million in revenue to BSD. Shipment of the first hyperthermia systems will coincide with Linden’s receipt of Taiwan FDA import license approval”
Those who listened to the recent Conference Call already know about this agreement, but today’s announcement has a bit more detail (see below). While governmental approval is not yet granted, this is more-or-less a given -- and it should be obvious the agreement would not have been signed without reasonable expectation of the approval happening. The Linden agreement is for about 20 units (rom the recent CC), and other agreements in Asia (also needing new or renewals of marketing approvals) bring the total number of Asian units to over 80 (over 5 years). This is more than 4 times the recent *worldwide* sales rate of the hyperthermia machines, and it should create profitable operations (and the MTX-180 sales could well be higher than the hyperthermia-machine sales).
