There are differences between abiotic oil and nucleation theory. I don't have the time right now to write a post long enough to even give a brief comparison that would be coherent. I think abiotic oil is unlikely at best. My mind is still open regarding nucleation. I'm not sure I'll still be around when we know for sure and/or it actually is a game changer in the market place for energy. I could be wrong. I might live long enough for aliens to land and give us the secret to 250-yr life spans, too.... <ggg>

The generally accepted view of "fossil" fuels, right or wrong, will prevail in the market place for the foreseeable future, IMO.
