Petroleum would also be used for transportation for SEVERAL years, even if something such as remarkable as cold fusion came to fruition... My interest is via my holdings in oil and gas Working & Royalty Interests. I am increasing investments in this area, and am counting on it for retirement income. Selling some of stock portfolio and investing in O&G assets with title in my partnership and corporate entities. Already have about $4,000 per month coming in via these investments. Title in my entities' names, and outside the banking system. All I care about is that oil and gas prices keep up with inflation for the next 25 years... Any opinion on this strategy...? Figure my Social Security (after inflation) income will need to be supplemented heavily, and believe that oil and gas WI/Royalty investments are a viable means to proceed for retirement.
