rumours today about nortel or lucent taking over ascend? don't know but i think lucent is restricted from using stock for some time to come. would have to pay cash. can't believe it would be nortel because of relationship with shiva.

does anyone know if nortel has the kind carrier class switches that cascade brought to ascend?
