Hi Sheldon, it's been a while! Yes, I'm a software engineer... on the
NT security issues, our NT guy here says he believes the password
restriction will only apply to the 95 boxes on the domain and not the
entire domain.

On the Active-X signatures... I can't see any way that NRID's technology
could be used for that. I did notice that in IE4 they now allow individuals
to have their own certificates for the purpose of identifying yourself
to other sites for things like subscription services, and I could
see this being used for something like that.

The truth of the matter though is that security is not really such a
big deal in most cases. Some companies are really paranoid, and rightfully
so about external access, but in the case of an NT domain you're talking
about internal use and controlling physical access to the machines is
a better form a security. If NRID's solution came built in I bet people
would be falling over themselves to use it, but not when they have to
pay extra for it.

Now a bank is another matter... and the health care stuff too... what
I'm REALLY impressed with is that the contract they announced is a
contract that Unisys landed, and it further strengthens the idea that
Unisys is incorporating NRID's stuff into their product offerings.
If NRID had landed the contract I wouldn't have bought back in yet
because I would wonder if it was nothing more than a one time deal.
With Unisys out there pushing this stuff to their customer base I think
we have something to get excited about.

Personally I don't think the payment to Cogent will ever happen. I agree
that before 2 years from now the deal will be a moot point because
NRID will have moved to something else.
