A heads up for anyone that wishes to run Snow Leopard in a virtual machine on their Lion or Mountain Lion Mac (using Parallels), possibly for PowerPC software compatibility reasons:

Apple is now selling Snow Leopard Server for $19.99 + sales tax & shipping costs at 1.800.MYAPPLE (1.800.692.7753) - Apple Part Number: MC588Z/A (telephone orders only).

Formerly, to get Snow Leopard compatibility in a VM, you had to fork out at least $70 or so on eBay for Snow Leopard Server, or go through a complicated process to get Snow Leopard client to work with it. Those problems are now solved with Apple making Snow Leopard Server available so cheaply.

Thanks Apple!
