With modern technology and Science--yep. Definitely a chance. Of course, what the Attention Whores don't mention is that the choice to abort late-term (after 20 weeks) is never a frivolous choice. One does not sacrifice 5 months, and then just wake up feeling excited and charged, and then race (or skip) down to the hospital to seek a consultation with health care professionals. :-(

Even in Canada, where abortion is legal--abortions are still performed sometimes after 20 weeks--because (just as in any population) mothers and fetuses do develop health issues.
