By steadfastly holding a candidate to a set of ideals and rejecting all candidates that don't have all of them you end up with more Obama's. Some of us think that's insane. Bush had lots of flaws, but was he better than Obama? Bush senior? Pick any flawed Republican leader in the past 50 years and tell me if you would have preferred having the Dem candidate instead. Maybe Gore would have been better. Or Kerry. Or Dukakis or Carter. This seems to be what ideologues are saying. Is Hillary preferable to Ryan or Jindal or Christie?
