Not falling into traps, there must be threads about Islam as "pure evil" but from evolutionary science pov its a religion to be studied as such and not all of the human beings living in these countries are evil. That we see the bulk of the ignorance, shallowness & stupidity in US being generated by so many huge tacky shallow political debates, completely off topic & created only to divide, we look pretty silly to the world. Well you went for selecting out (cherry picking) the very end of the post joe and you're not making sense if you say that one cannot use the most defining ending events of the entire gospel narrative as a standard by which to define Christianity. It was/is Jesus teaching that entire last set of events about pacifism (turn cheek, put down sword) loving your enemies and the very last thing washing the feet (humility). (And i always reserve the right to call bullshit, bullshit.) The rest of my post had to do with strategic diplomatic talking points that have to be observed, you're rhetoric of "pure evil" is going to fly really well with a traveling president of the US abroad and a region embroiled in so many delicate balances. We'll see what happens . As for greg , hes all yours .
