Palatin Tech Says Finance Firm Not Part Of Federal Mob
Probe

PRINCETON, N.J. (Dow Jones)--Palatin Technologies Inc. (PLTN) said
Paramount Capital Investments LLC, a firm Palatin has used as a source of
financing and as a financial advisor, isn't related to a company mentioned in a
Wednesday Wall Street Journal story about the widening of a federal
investigation of mob activities on Wall Street.

The Journal story said that Paramount Capital Management Inc. is one of three
"small brokerages" that the U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan is examining to
determine if the firms have defrauded investors and whether organized-crime
members may have infiltrated the firms and laundered money.

Palatin said Paramount Capital Investments, a private equity investment
placement specialist, has "no relationship whatsoever" to Paramount Capital
Management.

Palatin closed up 1/2 today!
