Genome sequencing has progressed a lot the last couple of years. I think it's less than $1000 for complete sequencing of an individual human genome. In a democratic, multiracial society, identifying "intelligence genes" is very incorrect politically. And embryo selection will be anathema to the right to life crowd. So it's hopeless for the USA. Buy Chinese stocks :)
