Judging by the actual results of millennia of such reproductive efforts "the science" you report seems to be like "the science" of global warming = great in theory but in practise there is lacking a little je ne sais quoi when push comes to shove, the rubber meets the road and reality demonstrates what is really happening: <then they often cheat on those men- to find guys with big jaws and large brow ridges and lots of muscles. >

If your theory is correct, how come there are so few of those guys closely related to gorillas? And how come DNA testing [in 23andme and all sorts of such research] shows that in fact the purported father is 90% of the time the actual father? When the actual father is some other bloke, they normally bear little relationship to such a big-jawed large brow-ridged muscular neanderthal.

Walk down and street and you will see that your theory is false. If it was true, most blokes would be very like such hulks after millennia of such sexual selection. The relatively limited difference in size between the sexes suggests that even physical conflict was not such a seriously important matter in determining reproductive outcomes. If you compare the average human bloke with a gorilla or chimp, you will see that we are even less physically imposing than those throw-backs, though Mike Tyson and some other men could give them a run for their money. But even they are vastly ahead of the gorillas in intelligence so my theory is backed better by reality than yours.

Also, your theory suggests that hunkiness and intelligence are mutually exclusive, but they are not. On the contrary, a healthy bloke is more likely to get both a well-developed body and brain.
