That isn't the main point of the piece, but its also correct. No, it isn't......its silly gibberish. The main point is that in the US we build rail that's actually useful and cost effective, freight rail, which we have more of than anyone else, Every country in the world has freight rail. The US is not unique. rather than wasting a bunch of resources on the flashy, expensive, and "sexy" but less useful high speed passenger rail. Waste is starting a senseless war in Iraq and spending a billion dollars to build an embassy in Baghdad. The right doesn't have the first clue when it comes to waste.
