CNBC - Maria announced from her sources that ASND was offered a $35 buyout, but ASND rejected it, expecting to get a $40 per share offer. She'll have more to say on Market Edge at 7pm tonight. She also said that the price rise was not due to the conference disclosure that they were comfortable with the earning projections, but because of the LU rumor. JJK
