Chid,

Thanks for your reply, the work was self serving. I love the dialogue on here for different calcs. So interesting how we all view things differently.

I am always interested in retail and consumer for some reason so i was interested to see what i came up with without really knowing the company.

I like to work out a number then file it away for a rainy day, that sometimes never comes. Ive been doing it that way for a few years now. I'm perfectly ok with that.

At 15% the interest does perk up a little more at current levels. Though assuming 15% reasons i stated before is just a little exuberant for my calcs. Just personal preference i suppose.

Asking yourself are you to optimistic is an interesting question. I think to each his own on that, it's not really for us to tell you. I think you have to really know yourself and your investment preferences and biases on an investment of this nature.

This feels like you are trying to time an underlying trend that has earnings continuing to grow and a bias that is to pessimistic about the future (very possible), for me that sounds like a ton of average mutal fund managers out there. Some work out great, others not so much.

That is where i get confused on this board, where peoples holdings end up looking like a bunch of mutal funds.
