i called today at noon (edt) and spoke to david ridley, the cfo. although he answered my questions, he was not very enlighting about any future plans. there is speculation about a take over, but this seems to be the norm. its a family run business and the change over in the ceo position from one norton to another norton seems to be just some kind of "formality". they don't expect any changes from the 3rd quarter results, except some minor tax consequences. they also have the parts for a 16th rig in the yard, but "nobody seems to be doing anything with them". maybe you'll be able to find out something else. later....
