Scrapps I was aware of the upgrade agenda this spring when I was "in" Zoom when we got screwed. I punted on bad earnings immediately after management kept pointing to one analyst who had higher than the average expectations in reference to their earnings. I admit I hadn't followed zoom's "details" since then because I don't trust their management any longer. I'm back in because I'm interested in companies that get beat down to their book values when that company sells a product that I believe will be THE xmas stocking stuffer (you could substitute any name modem here). Zoom happens to look like the cheapest buy in that category to me and I see more upside potential (or takeover) when a company with a hot product for the next 12 months is at its book value.

FWIW, I did dig out the original details of the modem upgrade from half a year ago I printed out. I was just asking for recent "personal" experiences. I have since ordered my upgrade. Don't get me wrong, I'm sincerely sorry if you're at a loss in ZOOM, but how would you think you'd feel about the stock's potential if you just got (back) in? I still think there will be an "xmas sales anticipation" runnup before earnings - I do not plan on waiting for $24 as I feel that would be a very painful wait.

good luck all,
regards,
Tom
