I agree...it's a mess.

Single-payer essentially gives the government unprecedented powers, at least from an American perspective.

This is a national issue of unprecedented proportions. If per capita costs don't come down it doesn't matter how
we arrange to pay for benefits, the aggregate cost still consumes a disproportionate share of the national product.

But perhaps you're frustrated by the fact that most of the vocal opponents of ObamaCare don't have any viable alternatives, except for the John Stossel libertarians who say that government should just get out of the health care business altogether.

You think that's an alternative...?
