Excellent stuff gentlemen. I have tried to explain that to some several times. The wacko greens are desperate to see the rise in the price of NG as a sign that we do NOT have a huge supply of cheap gas going forward.

Let us say the price to open the throttle on drilling is $6. That would be the equivalent of $36 oil. Even this price would be a huge advantage for the US versus at least Asia.

In Don Coxe's weekly call he made a big point as to the benefits the US has from our abundance of NG. Not only does it give our manufacturers and huge advantage vs foreign competition - the production of the gas offers large numbers of well paying jobs. Ergo - shale gas for the US is a double positive.

I think my local friend in the biz would be delirious with joy for $6 gas and the drills would be turning - not only for shale gas - but conventional gas.
