Phillies finalize opening-day roster

delcotimes.com

excerpt: "Outfielder Delmon Young, who had surgery on his right ankle, was placed on the disabled list retroactive to March 22.(Edit:this means to players will sent to minors when Ruiz and Delmon Young are activated--who will they be? My guess Horst or Valdes and , yikes--hard to figure: Franksen maybe? Inciarte will remain: he is rule 5 and they really like him. My big confusion, what happened to Cloyd!!! He is not even on 40-man roster!! Anyone know what happened to Cloyd? They released outright Aaron Cook and Aurelio Lopez recently.Max)

The opening-day roster is composed of 12 pitchers, two catchers, six infielders and five outfielders.
Pitchers: Right-handers Mike Adams, Phillippe Aumont, Chad Durbin, Roy Halladay, Kyle Kendrick and Jonathan Papelbon; left-handers Antonio Bastardo, Cole Hamels, John Lannan, Cliff Lee, Jeremy Horst and Raúl Valdes.
Catchers (2): Erik Kratz and Humberto Quintero.
Infielders (6): Kevin Frandsen, Freddy Galvis, Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley and Michael Young.

Outfielders (5): Domonic Brown, Inciarte, John Mayberry Jr., Laynce Nix and Ben Revere.
The Phillies also are at 40 players on their 40-man roster.
