sam on Dec 4 1997 7:22PM EST This is pure speculation, of course, but perhaps the rumor could have been planted today to further bulster a 40 dollar buyout figure. If ASND is at 22 -- 40 seems ridiculous, but at 28 it's more reasonable. Not in my opinion, I used to sell businesses. 8-10x earnings is nothing counting current earnings! You have to account for future earnings! Thats what you are buying! $60-$80 is not unreasonable! Jeff
