Loren, I appreciate what you're saying here but I'm not always sure where you're coming from.
When I first started posting and I wrote that lengthy piece to Pierre telling him how fed up I and others were of his arrogant nonsense, you came on and said "I think I love you" for calling him on his tactics. I got the impression that you agreed that someone had finally called him on his misrepresentations. So which one is it Loren? Do you want him to go unchecked in his posts or not? He rarely, if ever, posts facts and I seem to be about the only one to disagree with him that he hasn't been successful in forcing to go away.
As far as Carlton Lutts is concerned, I think there is a board set up already to bash Lutts and Cabot on. This board is titled "Presstek - Stock of the Decade?" because of Cabot's reports calling it the stock of the decade but this is NOT A CABOT BOARD. If people want to bash Cabot, go to the other board!! Their bashing will have company there!
Cabot follows many, many stocks, unlike the bears here. He's extremely right on some and extremely wrong on others. Maybe he has been way off on his earnings predictions for Presstek but what's that got to do with the price of eggs? No one has to follow his advice. But, if you look at Pierre, Paul, GVTucker or almost any bears' profile, you will see that none of them POST ON ANY OTHER BOARD EXCEPT PRESSTEK. Why do you think that is? How can you tell if they are any good as analyst since they are experts in only one stock? Why would they make it appear to be almost a full time job researching this company? Do they have a hidden agenda?
I've been very upfront and honest about my agenda since I first came on here. I have a huge position in this company and have never made any beefs about it. If Presstek is going to $5 or $500, it will be because of the company, the product and the industry and not because some overly testosteronal smartbutt wanted to outsmart an overly hormonal smartbutt. PERIOD.
Pierre has said that he "has a few puts". I don't think GVTucker has ever acknowledged the extent of his position. Paul has constantly told us he's shorted more and more so he probably has a LOT OF MONEY at stake, although I don't think as much as I do. If I am correct, then I would think that everyone would understand why Paul and I stay on top of the situation.
I do not set the tone of the conversation, I don't think. I've been following Pierre's lead. If he wants it to be mellow and upbeat, then fine with me. If it gets taunting and arrogant, down and dirty, I'll be in there too......and that's the way it is. I hope you understand.
As for MomoDog, he needs to go back and read the previous posts! I don't think he has a very clear picture of what's happening here.
So, where's the outrage when Pierre attacks me? When's the last time you asked him to lead by example or focus on PRST and not on the bulls.....or is this just a male thing? Count Gold and Neil seem to be the only one of you guys with a memory!
