I already showed you how Krugman blamed all of California's woes on Republicans. That's an incredible spin on the facts, one that ignores decades of Democratic control of state and local governments.

Of course, he has not said that Rs are the only ones responsible.............however, Rs have played a very instrumental role in bringing down the state of CA.

Krugman also bemoaned the polarization of politics and said that only Republicans say offensive, childish things.

There are Dems who say 'offensive, childish things' but the vast majority of 'offensive, childish things' are said by Rs. This thread is a prime example.

The only time he acts like an economist is when he's arguing for more deficit spending in order to prop up failing economies. But even that ignores the real reason why the federal budget has blown up to tremendous proportions. Here's a hint: Medicare and Social Security now makes up over half of the budget.

Face it, Krugman is a shill for the Democratic Party. He says nothing profound or intelligent about economics. All he does is use his credentials and reputation to advance a leftist, utopian agenda. Even John Maynard Keynes wouldn't go so far, IMO.

I can understand your dislike of Krugman.........he has discredited much of the economic thesis the GOP has been promoting in this country and Europe for the past 30+ years. But to suggest he is nothing more than a shill belies his credentials and his position on one of the most important newspapers in the country.
