This "apology" allows AAPL to appear to be "chastened" and now everything that can happen will happen EVEN MORE ENTHUSIASTICALLY.
It may be nonsense to you but it is beyond sense that now the Chinese have a better warranty policy than the rest of the world. They are bullies and they use the fact that they are a huge market to push companies around.

That may be "good business" to kowtow to them but I find it disgusting and showing of lack of integrity.

As to the more enthusiastically, I agree. Now they will go after Apple and anyone else they choose more enthusiastically.

There are no doubt some ethical Chinese citizens but overall they have shown they have no regard or respect for intellectual property and counterfeit everything they can get their hands on. To keep this from being a political rant just look no further than the fake Apple Stores that were created and sanctioned in China.

I don't for an instant believe that the government was looking out for its citizens warranty rights. That's BS.
