Honestly, I don't believe that. Iran-Contra, probably the worst thing that happened under his (Presidential) watch, has already been basically expunged from his historical record. And don't forget that Obama, probably the most liberal President of our lifetime, cites Reagan in positive ways. I think that ship has sailed, at least for a few decades.


We'll see. I think things are getting reset now. It will take a while......maybe another generation.......but I think Reagan's tenure as president will be subject to some serious revision and he will not be considered the great president he is now. He certainly doesn't deserve that status.

I think Obama's repeated referrals to Reagan was an attempt to draw in the Rs. Since it didn't work, I think we now are seeing less of those references to Reagan from him.
