Whoa gang! Lets get a truce going here. For a long time this thread has been a great one. Don brought some good content and dialogue and somehow this has spun out of control.
He can take cheap shots if he wants and call names and ask whatever questions he wants. Nonetheless, it does not help anyone in here to go tit-for-tat with him.
Don trades based on intuition. We have talked about how that is something that is difficult to spell out. He has been successful with this method, good for him. Most need more technical skills, knowledge of the markets, indices, data, market operations etc.
My feeling is that regardless of what makes you buy or sell, you are playing a game control and run by market makers, specialists. They run the show and you can't beat them. What you can do is grab 3/8s and 1/2 and 2 points here and there. But to do so, you have to know how they operate and what they look at. Wthout a doubt, larger firm traders need discipline and strategy which includes many of the things that we have talked about.
So even if you don't want to use them or believe, since mm's and the traders at these firm use them, you should be aware of them.
Don, please do me a favor, drop the comments regarding my firm and don't bring me into your personal attacks. I havenot attacked your person or the integrity of your statements once. I have taken issue with your trading tactics, which is probably the purpose of a thread like this. The choice is yours.
By the way, you and I both know it takes about 45 seconds to crank out a message this big, so please, don't judge.
