I time ago I read that the volcano in Chile caused a change in the angle of the earths axis. It increased the tilt of the axis

"However, the cause of this change in Solar Angle can have more than one cause, so I altered the title accordingly. Here are some good examples of possibilities which could each cause the angle of the sun to be off. I still believe the axis change for many reasons including the GPS failure, satellite images, weather and seismic activities, solar tracking patterns, measurements…. but I also believe we could have a combination of a wobble, an axis change and an alteration in the eliptic plane. Sometimes things occur like a row of falling dominoes. Each affecting the other. The cause is not our biggest worry. The resulting rapid changes in our climate will cause devastating changes affecting every living thing on this planet. Those are the things we need to worry about. But for the rest of you, here are a variation of possible causes which could have changed the angle of the sun.
  1. Change in the angle of the Earth’s Axis
  2. A Change in the direction of the Earth’s Axial angle.
  3. A Wobble in the Earth’s Axial rotation.
  4. A change in the Eliptic plane of rotation of the Earth around the Sun
  5. A Shift in the Eliptic plane position or direction around the sun
  6. A change in the shape of the Earth’s orbit around the sun.
  7. A change in the gravimetric positions of the astrological bodies in the solar system
  8. A variance in the position of the sun"
