John, one more comment with regard to TA. I think we need an associated thread to discuss the technicals in a way that more suits the people of this thread, as opposed to some of the others that have been around for a long while and people have become so familiar with each other that their conversations are often short handed to the point of being very hard to follow.

However we are at a point where traders and investors are having major differences in perspectives. We have been here before. I remember squawking about ENRON years ago. For months I complained about what its trading activity was doing to California energy markets. At the same time others were pointing out its positive trend lines. Even when it broke some saw opportunity in it as it seemed to display an opportunity. The kind of game playing ENNRON engaged in looks pretty amateurish in today's world. But it is the same kind of derivative crap that is still hidden deep on the books of the corporate, financial, and retirement trusts.

One day, the king will have no clothes. I know that. I can not play the game anymore. I have what I have and that's it. Perhaps I'm deeply paranoid. Maybe when this breaks, and we get a real market again.
