ROI projects look much better when costs of capital are at record lows. Problem is we aren't doing enough of it in the areas that build a base to solid long term real economic growth not just the financial engineering taking place on the consumption side via auto loans, student loans and clearing distressed shadow inventory in housing.. Amazingly it seemed like misallocation of capital was much worse under GWB yet few talked about it back then. I've been at this so long it gets tiring as no end in sight even today as the bad behavior that got us into the mess continues even after a financial crisis much worse than any of us would have thought actually occurred<ng> Message 21995429 Message 22081732
