Abstract thoughts of where is value? Once a dime was silver and it was worth 10 cents of silver nothing abstract there I am trading you 10 cents of silver for a soft drink. . What can you do with the silver well sell it to someone who will use it for some commercial purpose. Here we have value for value. Stocks are value unless surplus currency skews the actual value of the stock. This can happen easily as you are trading non value currency for in many cases tangible value. As the world populous decreases the PE base should decrease too. . Now I take this to the USA dollar where the dollar is backed by the gov. The gov is tied to debt so where is the value for value? Where is value ? Could it be in realestate where I saw advertised a house that was worth 680K in 2008 same house no renovation now on the market for 1.6 million. Average wage US is about $23 an hour Average increase in house prices changes rapidly when you add in a few of those well above 1 million houses which appear to be selling.These are jumbo loans and you do have to have the ability to pay or you do not get the mortgage. I guess I am thinking commodities but I am not sure. .
