Interesting post over at Yahoo: "Overshadowed in 2012 by news of Google Glass, was Microsoft's patent for see-through virtual retinal eyewear employing RGB laser diodes. Microsoft is said to have worked on this since at least 2010. And it looks like they plan both a visor and glasses. Said to launch early 2014. This story from Patentbolt (3/12) includes illustrations of Microsoft's virtual eyewear patent--describes a device we are all too familiar with: patentbolt.com it would be funny if Microsoft ends up beating Google in the eyeware game after all the hype for Google. I still think something big is going to happen in the gamer arena.
