DAK.....you have to realize that Social Security IS kind of a welfare program.

People don't actually pay in as much as they take out.

Especially with all the cost of living adjustments and everything.

IF they had actually SEPARATED it and made it a self contained investment fund then it could have been self perpetuating and we wouldn't have to worry about it.

But politicians saw all that CASH and they had to raid it to get more votes for themselves.
