Demand for the Sun Platform far exceeds that of its competitors from IBM, DEC and HP. I work for a large Software company that provides software on all these platforms and Sun is the dominant platform and from everything I see and hear is winning gargantuan deals left and right. Plus - Sun has a strong software and proffesional services division which is just beginning to get its legs. NT will be a growing platform but much of it is from Microsofts marketing hype - this may be enough to drive Novell to an early grave but Sun is the real - mission critical, enterprise platform for Today and Tomorrow - amen.
