I agree 1000% Harry. We need action fit for the times. Wealth disparity at record levels, record poverty and welfare along with an aging population in a connected globalized high tech world. Unleashing another round of trickle down economics or more Ayn Rand at this late date when the trend has been starve the beast since the mid 1970's is the wrong medicine. I think too many on the right confuse the plight of the black ghetto's going downhill since LBJ's Great Society was implemented with the real policies needed today to raise folks out of poverty, to build a more upwardly mobile middle class. This is where some dose of FDR job's programs and infrastructure build, learning from the post WW2 high tax, high wage, regulated, but with fewer safety nets time with a booming middle class and fostering the same technological innovation that proceeded at a rapid pace during the Clinton years but this time in green energy, transportation, biotech and medical efficiencies to bring health care costs down..
