No, I was right. Most major geological changes on earth over the past 5000 years HAVE involved catastrophic changes .... like volcanic explosions or earthquakes that removed mountain tops, filled valleys with lava flow, or created new lakes.

Your unnatural restriction of 5000 years rules out those gradual changes over long ages.

What a dope.
