Briefly: After clicking on "FREE" button, a person is unable to cancel or reverse that decision.

Description:

I decided to start this thread out of frustration, because it seemed that I was running into "issues" in the Apple ecosystem more frequently than I wanted to. The straw that pushed me over the line was when I tried to get an answer to Elroy's question on canceling a purchase. I went to the Apple Support page and discovered that Apple had no instructions on backing out of a free purchase or even deleting the unwanted junk after a download and personal evaluation. It seems that once you click that "FREE" button you forever become married to the decision, unless you want to cancel your Apple account and move to a different country to start over.

That is a BUG in the Apple ecosystem.
