You probably meant 1930's. They continue to win when they have complete support of all on the right protecting these robber barons in recent years. Pissed as they are at Obama he certainly isn't FDR or a socialist nor has he gutted their cherished military imperialistic beliefs yet. There was no Bernanke to save the day for the well off back then as his clone of that day passed in 1928.. Robber baron scum like Adelson or the Koch Brothers have made a killing the past 30+ years yet they want to double down and squeeze the 99.9% even more..
