Mooter - Thanks for your detective work amidst the drama. I consider the news of Line 2's speed improvement to be very significant. The completed installation of the coating/laminate machinery is also welcome news. The company should now be in an excellent position for analyst visits to the NI facility. It is my hope this will occur soon. In my last discussion with DA, he indicated the analysts were anxious to visit and that the company was hopeful for December.
These technological milestones SHOULD overshadow the other dramas but, heck, we can almost expect this kind of frustration by now. I get the feeling that Lev Dawson will get the news out, so to speak. (And, like Cal, he has experience with the old litigation, so there'll presumably be a measure of caution involved as well.)
I've chimed in on multiple occasions on this thread in support of Cal Reed's determination, as I interpret it. I invested in the company on my confidence that Reed could accomplish the production goal and likely go beyond it. I think he may have done just that. It is very unfortunate that the market players (read: hair trigger momentum "investors") are unable to see calmly beyond their computer screens when issues like this pop up. How many folks on this thread, for instance, were panicking when the 144 filing was announced? How may true investors in this company spend every waking hour worrying how to accomplish tax loss selling? (Maybe I should just speak for myself on this.)
Anyway, your point about the 'stop fine tuning' advocates getting the upper hand makes sense under the circumstances (which include recent ULBI and LITH announcements - all adding to the frustration and urgency.) My conclusion: the wheels are in motion...and various OEMs are vying for a piece of the scarce production these companies have to offer. We'll see...
