I don't agree about the Japs being more open, they never came out and said how bad Fukishima is was...but I'm no expert on this. And your suggestion would be of immense help if taken, and would most certainly answer some questions "If you are near a dangerous radioactive source, or even worse if the source is inside of you, all calculations and figures shown do not apply. All managers of nuclear plants and their families ought to live close to the plant imho. It keeps the decision making process clearer."
