Bart: Thanks for the post! I have been following this thread for over a year and also noticed the departure of previous supporters. I did not take part in the Rights Offering...Did not want to get burned twice. I'll be long gone from SWMC soon myself and chalk this up to expensive experience. I talked with my broker today and it looks like they won't even charge me to sell SWMC since the value is less than $10 and I've got several accounts with them. I thought that was a nice gesture on their part. This will leave me with an offsetting tax loss for some of my gains for 1997. You have been right on target with this company...too bad I didn't heed your warnings. Threads on the SI do serve value to the individual investor and this is a good example of it.
