Dear Lee, I know exactly how you feel about this precious fellowship. It just has helped me crawl even closer to the base of the Mountain than I was before I had this whole strange world of SI. Truthfully, the rest of the vast web world out there kind of grosses me out, and even the historical sites seem to be rather controlled by the minnions of darkness. I don't know....sure hope its just my imagination.
I just know the Kingdom of our Lord, specifically the world we enjoy through Jesus Christ and Him only, seems a fable and a fairytale to everyone. They want to believe, but actually I think the thing they REALLY believe is that all of us somehow hypnotised ourselves, or disciplined ourselves, or somehow did some mystical thing they can't seem to crack the code on, when in fact every single person I know that loves Jesus was a miserable slob lost in sin and one day said a prayer because someone else told them to. I know four bikers who have small ministries. Each one is a preacher who can compare to any on earth, except that they are geniunely so funny it seems ungodly to find so much wonderful joy in the preaching of the gospel. Yet they do, and without a fleshly desire to amuse. They simply are very witty men, and wonderful preachers. Now, I've sat under their teachings and know they do not know each other. All four have told me their testimony, which I have heard with my ears, from their mouths, and beyond the possibility of coincidence, and beyond my understanding, two of them got saved at the point of suicide with their beloved 357 magnum in their mouths, and two got saved with their beloved piece whatever it was, usually a 357, at their temple. One confessed he was too chicken to put it in his mouth and was hoping he's miss if he fired at the side of his head.
Let me tell you something. When a guy gets saved under those circumstances and wants to go back to his vomit, I believe it is really easy for the Lord to remind him: "Oh, Yes, I can see why.
You were having so much fun and enjoying your sin so much, weren't you?" And those were some rough brothers, let me tell you. We're talking worst of the worst, and one was an Outlaw and the other
an Hell's Angel, and Mike, the best preacher I think, says he was so foul no one would have him! He didn't even have any friends he was so mean. He pushed his own mother over sideways when she was on her knees praying for him!
So, people cannot understand that it is a simple prayer and a will to
change from what you are to something better, and I think sometimes that lurkers, especially, have no way of catching on that we were
miserable sinners, at all stages of rebellion, who simply had not found what they were looking for. Jesus is all anyone is looking for, and
I pray that anyone coming here will simply understand that this is what it's all about.
We had a visitor here who really could benefit by being here. Maybe there are people that are Jewish and have turned away from Judeism, and if they have turned away from what they were born into, how in the world are they finding peace when there is no place to go to escape coming back to that they have already abandoned--Father God, the God of Abraham, and then the only alternative is Jesus, which is like associating with pork, I'm sure. It must be a strange. To hear something is wonderful, but somehow not be able to reach for it, and as you say, the whole thing WAS FIRST GIVEN TO THE JEWS!!!! It's so crazy sometimes I just can't even believe the whole thing.
But I believe our blanket adoration of anything Jewish is equally strange, because any Jewish person knows that's a little nuts.
I mean, do you just love everything Anglo? We have some really stomach turning stuff there ourselves.
Lee, there is or was, I don't know what could be stopping it, but you don't hear much about it and maybe that's because the satanic media just don't want it known, is that there is a huge and annointed Holy Spirit movement among messianic Jews and there was a huge conference last year in Portland, I think Portland, and I saw a tape from the year before, and the worship was EXACTLY like the Maranatha worship of the Jesus Freak Movement in the 70's. Just stuff that had people's eyes shut with tears rolling down their cheeks, just absolutely lost in the Presence of God.
I only lost touch with all this six months ago, and it seems like five years. I'll try and find out what is going on and find the name of
the rather large (1000's) that they call themselves.
I just realized something. I miss the Jews for Jesus brothers so much. They have to be part of this. There's no way they would be left out. Maybe I'll check that out too. |
