CSCO thread is deadly quiet, even with ASND's HUGE buyout news! Anyone cares to make a commend about the possible effects to CSCO tomorrow by this news? I would think that it does not serve CSCO's interests to see ASND being acquired by LU. Some thought that CSCO may jump into the bidding war for ASND, which I don't agree at all. I would think that even if LU acquires ASND, it will take LU at least 2 qtrs to absorb ASND/CSCC. CSCO can use this time to increase its market shares, thus stands at a higher ground to compete against LU once it puts its act together. Having said that, we might still see some initial weakness tomorrow morning. But I don't think CSCO will drop below $85 again before 12/16 splitting. Just throw out some of my broken thoughts, hope this will alure some more valuable comments. Good luck! MB
