Pardon me if this is old news. On CNBC this evening, 6pm CST time,
I watched the reporter, Maria (?last name), saying that according
to her source, LU offered to ASND $35/share but ASND declined,
hoping for more. At same time, Northern Telecom, also she said
approaching ASND with $40/share.
Well, I guess, neither 3 companies want to say anything,
because if it is true, they do not want to have a bidding war,
like MCI, GE, WorldCom, British Telecom, I guess,
it's maybe the right time for ASND to be taken over, since
large companies have cash, and ASND looks cheap.
Again, this is CNBC info.
And also , ASND CFO said comfortable with street earning estimates.
