Roth IRAs. I just learned something useful. I've been involuntarily pushed into a higher income bracket due partly to many pref stocks that I bought for $10+/- in 2009 are being called for $25. Lately LXP-D ruined 2013. An etrade tax specialist told me about this option. I just took advantage of it for 2012 and 2013. You can still do 2012 this week. FYI:

>Because anyone, regardless of income, can make non-deductible contributions to a Traditional IRA. And since there's no longer an income limit on Roth conversions, they can immediately convert those non-deductible contributions to a Roth IRA.
