Ha ha. I guess it can always get worse but it isn't very pretty now, is it? We'll just have to let things play out for a week or two and see where we stand. I have high hopes Hamels will get it together, but I have NO faith in Halladay anymore.

And Howard, after a decent spring training is falling right back to where he has been, swinging at low pitches and striking out a lot. I like our offense in general this year because we've gotten some good bats in trade and some of the guys from last year are hitting better, but like you say, our pitching is atrocious. Maybe the one or two of the relievers will become "lights out" pitchers as the season progresses.

I always have to remind myself that there are a LOT of games to play so there is time to turn things around. The season is just one week old.
