Paul,
Know a little about candle sticks and would like to learn more. What would be the single best resource on this subject? Let me see if I am doing this right:
IBM: decreasing momentum with indecision... watch for a trend reversal.
PFE: bearish sign....so now what? Look for confirmation and if so what would look for? Or make trade in anticipation?
Dell: looks like a shooting star on the 28th? But then followed by a harami on 1st and 2nd, but if look at 2nd and 3rd its a bullish engulf. How do you interpret this??
Thanks for the input!!! >>>

DEll: 11-28-97: The one you said as a shooting star, could be a Doji. A shooting star has to have a real body. The body on the 28 th is too small. Everything else is correct. Today it is just a black body. If the lower shadow was twice or more than the length of the body, it will qualify for a hanging man. Body is also too big for a hanging man. Hanging man's body is small, either black or white.

IBM; Agreed. Today it is a black body

PFE: You are right. Today's big black body confirmed your observation.

You may want to look into books written by Steve Nison: 1: Japanese CandleStick Technique 2; Beyond Candlesticks.
