Yes having A/C everywhere and a lifestyle geared towards it is what 'saves' us in the end here.. Not too healthy long term as I figured out only after living here 20 years that the heat, humidity and tropical sun wears on you and most of us have a limited shelf life in which we can use and abuse it. Sort of like a drug or alcohol addiction., hitting the wall, going through rehab and finally hiding from the sun like Dracula<ng>

I have always hated A/C so what you say does not come as a surprise to me.
