Thu 4 Dec 97 News Release
Mr Fred Hewett reports
The company has acquired the Pace Group near the Dempster highway in the
northern Yukon.
THe company has an option to acquire three properties totalling 168 claims
in the exciting new Taiga Shale basin. The three properties were staked
based on favourable stratigraphy and geochemical responses similar to those
on the adjacent Rein property of Blackstone Resources Inc.
On adjacent claims, recent drilling by Blackstone Resources Inc returned
5.3 metres of 1.41% nickel with 0.70% zinc in a 2.5km long nickel zinc
molybdenum soil anomaly. The company can acquire up to a 100% interest in
the three blocks by paying a total of C$180,000 in cash and issuing 450,000
shares over two years. Blackstone Resources retains a back in right for an
option to earn 20% of the claims by paying 25% of the property costs. This
right is exercisable until January 31 1998. The properties are also subject
to a 2% nsr.
